At the invitation of English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad, especially Dr Priyadarshini and Dr Shyamrao Rathore, Head of the Hindi Department, after renowned Hindi poet Shri Arun Kamal, our Hindi lecturer Peter Sagi was asked to address the audience at a conference titled Hindi Evam Videshi Bhasha Aur Sahitya: Vaishwik Pariprekshya (Hindi and Foreign Languages and Literatures: A Global Outlook). In his keynote speech "'Jab Tune English Mein Daanta': Udiyaman Bharat aur Millenial Pidhi Ki Sanskriti" he reminded the guests of the challenges which globalisation creates for Hindi within India itself.
