At the invitation of the Department of Indian Studies, noted Indian writer and poet Pankhuri Sinha, who will stay as a resident writer in Pécs in the framework of the Hungarian Writers' Residence programme during May, was the guest of ELTE University on the 6th May 2022. Followed by a discussion, Pankhuri Sinha gave a lecture in English on recent trends of contemporary Hindi literature and her own oeuvre, and she also read from her works in Hindi.
